The FXHSC GE Smart Water whole house water filter is designed for GE Smart Water heavy duty water filtration systems. The GE FXHSC fits any other brand of water filter housing that uses 9 3/4 inch x 4 1/2 inch filter cartridges.

- Also fits most other brands of Whole-House filters that accept 9.5 x 4.5 inch filters
- Should be replaced every 3 months

The FXHSC is a great filter, with a very low pressure drop compared to the FXHTC filter. Our system filters lake water (Lake Champlain) & uses the FXHSC filter in combination with 2 other filters & a UV light. It picks up a fair amount of sediment but the water pressure stays fairly constant over the life of the filter, which is great. No complaints & the price is right.

The description says, "Special 3-pack means additional savings". What savings? Buying three individual filters would cost $47.97, whereas the 3-pack is $53.00.

I was notified this was on backorder a while ago, still have not received. I am in no huge rush but if I was......I think this would be a bit slow. I have used this product in the past so I rated it, not from this seller though
